Abstract
"The use of maximum likelihood procedures for state identification in learning, besides testing out the feasibility of a general shape function model for summarizing and quantifying PAL data, will assess the influence of relevant and irrelevant contextual cues during various phases of PAL. Response latencies, or length of stimulus presentation will be analyzed by means of sequential statistics as a function of error-success scores and state of learning. Ss will be given prior differential exposure to the stimulus terms in a probability learning paradigm to assess cue selection and manipulability.”
